Comic Summary Bishop has a nightmare. In it, he finds the X-mansion destroyed, and all of the X-Men killed. As he wonders what happened, he finds a sole survivor running through the hallways: Jean Grey. Jean says it’s their own fault they’re into this mess, and never should have trusted him. On that moment, Jean is shot by... Bishop himself? Bishop stares in disbelief at an evil version of himself, and that’s when he wakes up screaming. He’s in the infirmary of the school, where Forge explains he manage to repair the projector Bishop gave him earlier. He made Shard part of Bishop’s brainwaves now and, even though she’s a hologram, Shard is as real as she ever will be. Shard and Bishop have a discussion with Professor Xavier about how to properly deal with Mountjoy. Shard believes Bishop should have killed Mountjoy when he had the chance, regardless of him hading absorbed Storm at the time. Bishop agrees with Shard and returns to his former career as an X.S.E. agent, meaning he can kill in the line of duty. And if that means he has to resign as an X-Man, so be it. He and Shard leave and continue their search for Mountjoy. Mountjoy, in the meantime, has absorbed another victim, and uses it to move downtown in the hopes to find Bishop and Bantam, so they can end their dispute. Both Bishop and Mountjoy infiltrate in the local police station, where Bishop first hoped to learn more about Mountjoy’s whereabouts. When a battle between Mountjoy and Bishop occurs, they go back outside. Mountjoy steals a police car and Bishop drives on a bike he got as a gift from Forge and Wolverine, and the two chase each other on the freeway. When Bishop fires at Montjoy’s place, an explosion takes place, which takes them both out. Bishop wakes up a few minutes later, only to find himself back... at his own future timeline?! He is helped up by his sister Shard, who’s... alive?! Bishop wonders if he dreamed his entire time with the X-Men or not, and if he ever even left this time era. Comic Summary Mountjoy, having possessed Bishop’s body, enters Xavier’s school where he attacks the present X-Men. He successfully absorbs Gambit, Psylocke and, later, a visiting Archangel. However, Bishop manages to break himself free and faces Mountjoy in combat, though Mountjoy defeats him and next wants to absorb Professor Xavier. Bishop makes a plan, for which he needs Shard’s help. She lures Mountjoy to the Danger Room, where Bishop simulates a battleground of their future timeline. He attacks a distracted Mountjoy and eventually takes him down, but can’t bring it in his heart to kill him, as Shard wants him to do. However, Mountjoy then recovers and attacks Shard, wanting to kill her. Shard orders Bishop to fire one last blast to take them both down, but Bishop is worried it will ruin Shard’s holographic matrix, meaning she’ll be lost again, this time forever. Shard doesn’t mind and Bishop does as told. The absorbed X-Men are freed from Mountjoy’s body, and the villain himself is down as well. Unfortunately, Shard’s holographic image is too badly damaged due to the blast and, after the two siblings say they love each other one final time, she fades away. Having witnessed everything from the Danger Room’s control room, Professor X explains to Beast that Bishop has truly grown and changed since becoming an X-Man, and believes that he embodies what his dream is all about. Also, Charles believes that by not killing Mountjoy, Bishop has finally truly become one of them. (Brief description courtesy of uncannyxmen.net)

It takes a little effort but, with secret information provided by the Tallus, they finally convince him of them really being reality-hoppers with a mission. They even know about a special key that Reed Richards left in someone’s care, just in case that his force field technology fell into the wrong hands. The problem is that this person is Wonder Man, who, after being close to this reality’s Hulk when he was killed by a gamma radiation bomb, absorbed some of the rays and the Hulk’s genetic material, turning him into an amalgam of himself and the green goliath, more powerful than ever. Weapon X secretly enter the home of him, the Scarlet Witch and Dr. Strange, unnoticed thanks to magical talismans created by Storm. However, the Spider gets careless and gives Dr. Strange an opening to rip off his magic necklace, thus setting off the fortification spell cast by Wanda. Now alerted to the team’s presence, Wonder Man immediately shows up to fight them. While Angel and Vision search the house for the strange key, the rest of the group fights Wonder Man. When the Spider threatens his lover, he gets mad and transforms into his Hulk state. The team has no other option than to use a portable gate to the Negative Zone, given to them by President Stark. “Wonder Hulk” is sucked in, but so is the Jen Walters, the Weapon X’s Hulk, because Spider refuses to save her with a webline. In San Francisco, Beast and Professor Xavier attempt to play down the possible threat that the Legacy Virus has brought with it. Comic Summary David’s younger sister, Kim, arrives at Xavier’s to visit her brother. David first introduces Kim to the rest of his New Mutants squad, and next gives her a tour around the school and its many classes. Kim is very impressed and a little jealous as well, because she thinks that her school is boring compared to Xavier’s. Meanwhile, weird things are happening around the Institute. It begins with Icarus. While preparing for gym, his picture of his lost love Julia starts to crack, and he didn’t even touch it! He freaks out and sulks about it. Surge notices that and talks to him, but they only end up in an argument that Jay once tried to kill himself because he thought he had lost everything. Noriko, upset hearing that, knows that isn’t true, because Jay still has a family that loves him, and runs away to her room. There, she tries to contact her parents again and phones them, but her father doesn’t believe that it’s really Noriko calling them and hangs up on her. Noriko gets even more upset and stays in the room. After a while, Jay enters to apologize, and they both find Noriko’s room trashed! But Nori didn’t trash it, and neither did her roommate. At the lab, Wither and Wall Flower find a beaker smashed, and later a threatening message gets written on the blackboard, to “leave now.” Some time later, the New Mutants begin their Danger Room session and Kim gets to watch. Some of the squad members panic, but David suspects that it’s all just a prank of Julians. After a successful training session, Noriko doesn’t feel well after an overload of her powers. Dani goes to check on her and Kim has to stay behind in the observation deck. A ghost appears next to her and, after feeling that Kim is different, it warns Kim to get out of the place while she can and then disappears. Overjoyed, Kim rushes to Dani and the New Mutants, telling them that she has just found out that she is a mutant! (Brief description courtesy of uncannyxmen.net)

The Six can’t believe to see Magneto still alive, who confirms and explains that the rest of the X-Men are alive as well and are scattered all over the four courners of the world, preparing to defend the world against Xavier’s attack. Magneto takes Alex and Captain America with him and they plan their strategies. When Apocalypse and his Four Horsemen show up, the Six see them as enemies. Alex calms his friends down, explaining they are the good guys. When they fought them the last time, they were under the mind control of Xavier and the Shadow King. Apocalypse explains that Xavier plans to take over every mind of the United States government and bring fear to everyone, using a simulacrum of Galactus. The heroes and their allies go to New York, where “Galactus” has already landed and attacks. They draw his attention and Galactus brings out help in the form of his “Heralds,” Drax, the Silver Surfer and Nova. They are easily defeated, however, because they are not the real one’s. The heroes combine their powers against Galactus, who… melts! After their victory, Xavier and Mr. Sinister show up.
