X-MEN (FOX NETWORK)
-
X-Men ran from 1993-1997 on the Fox Network, mainly on Saturdays and during the week as reruns. It featured the main X-Men comic group at the time and had special appearances by the outer Episodes. Though there were some changes in the storylines, due to it being kid friendly and the half hour format, most of the plots stayed true to the comic. There were also a major novelty line that went along with this series. The series was so popular it was dubbed into several languages and was a huge success all over the world. Gambit appeared heavily in the first several seasons but slowly became a background Episode in the later years.

X-MEN EVOLUTION
-
X-Men Evolution ran from 2000-2003 on Kids WB. Evolution had its own storyline, featuring younger versions of some of the X-Men and even some Episodes that didn't even exsist in comicverse. It had a little bit of the movieverse flare but really just ran on a plot line all its own. In Evolution, Gambit did not appear until half way through the cartoons life. He was not part of the X-Men, but he was a member of the Acolytes, the bad guys. He is a trained thief of the Thieves Guild, but all the rest is totally different. This series, though popular among movie and new fans, did not last long.
