Marvel Creators Collection 1998 was one of the first Marvel
card sets to feature original Sketch Cards randomly packed throughout the
boxes. These sketch cards were released an average of 1 per box. Each card
is an original sketch from one of the artists hired by Marvel/Skybox. The
cards released were not copies, they were the actual card drawn by the
artist, making them one of a kind cards. Skybox called them "Sketchagraphs",
not to be confused with the "Sketchboard" cards that were released
within the same set as chase cards. Sketchboard cards were not originals,
but regular printed cards with multiple copies.

Though most Sketch Cards are more elaborate today, in this
set most cards were just pencil sketches or basic ink sketches. The cards
were approved before released. Before release the cards were stamped. As
far as I know, AP cards were not released with this set as they are in
modern sets. The only way to get a card from an artist in this series is
to hand pick one from a card pack or buy them from someone who has.

There was an never an official artist and count list released
for this set, but over time an amateur list was made by collectors. That
list is below. There is not a count for the cards for each artist, since
it unknown. These cards are considered more rare then the Sketch Cards
released in sets today, but do not go for more money due to the art being
true sketches and not colored or painted art like they are today.

The back of the Sketchgraphs look like
the card below, you can visibly see the stamp that embosses the front and
back of each official approved and released card:
