The following Sketch Cards are from various
sets. Card sets you would not normally expect Gambit to be a part of. With
so few card within each set I have put them all on one page.

The majority of the series are very similar to Marvel Masterpiece
Sketch Cards. These sketch cards were released an average of 1 per box.
Each card is an original sketch from one of the artists hired by Marvel.
The cards released were not copies, they were the actual card drawn by
the artist, making them one of a kind cards.

For these sketch cards, Marvel/Rittenhouse commissioned over
various artists. Each artist was sent blank cards, but they did not have
to complete all of them, nor did Marvel have to use all of them. They were
hired to draw characters from the Marvel Universe to fit inside the theme
of card set. Once done, the cards were sent back in. The cards that were
approved were cut and released in packs. Later the artist were sent Artist
Proof cards, these cards could be sold/auctioned off separate from the
packs. The artist would normally take request from private parties and
sell them the card after it was approved by Marvel. AP cards DO have to
be approved by Marvel before the transaction can be made to make it an
official card.
